Silver Lake Boardwalk Trail —  Silver Lake Trailhead @ (40.603506, -111.584701) ///expect.sights.domestic

Hike: Silver Lake Boardwalk trail is a 1 mile loop mostly flat with slight elevation changes. A portion of the trail is on a boardwalk that is very accessible. This week we have selected a hike around Silver Lake as our event to replace our normal Sunday Gathering. This is great way to spend time in conversation as we hike together up to the lake. There is a nice place to have a picnic lunch (each person provides for themselves) and socialize near the lake. Come enjoy the summer out in nature together!

Directions: On the east side of Salt Lake City, take I-215 to the 6200 South off-ramp (Exit 6). Drive south following the road signs to the Brighton and Solitude ski resorts. Follow the signs to Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (7000 South Wasatch Blvd.) and continue driving 14.2 miles up the canyon to the Silver Lake Visitor’s Center. The Silver Lake loop trail follows the boarded walkway around Silver Lake.
