Speaker: Adriane Juarez
Speaker Bio: Adriane is the Director of the Park City Library, where she implemented a $9.6 million-dollar library renovation in 2015, making it the acclaimed 21st Century Library that it is today. She worked for the Salt Lake City Public Library for 28 years before taking over leadership of the Park City Library in June 2013. She is the host of the internationally recognized Library Leadership Podcast where she interviews guests about their ideas, innovations, and strategic insights in the profession. She served as the Utah Library Association President from 2012-2013, celebrating the organization’s 100th anniversary. And, for 7-years, she was the Utah Regional Director for Emporia State University’s School of Library and Information Management, bringing new professionals into the field of librarianship. She states that, “It is a great honor to serve Park City with our library’s mission to Empower Minds, Inspire Imagination, and Connect Community.”
